I started off in fitness as a personal trainer, and then slowly expanded into high energy group fitness settings. Before long, I even dabbled in on demand platforms. I saw how fitness changed my life, gave me not only health, but confidence in and out of the gym. I wanted this for everyone.
I have a wide interest in fitness ranging from half marathons, powerlifting meets, bodybuilding shows, and mud runs. My love of fitness became a love for understanding movement and different modalities. Soon it became an interest in how different modalities could motivate different populations to move their bodies. With that, I have had a wide array of learning and teaching TRX classes, yoga, boot camp, HIIT, strength training, indoor rowing, and indoor running classes. I strive to continue to be a lifelong learner.
I am most fulfilled when clients and members change their way of thinking, how they speak to themselves, their relationships with food, gain confidence in and out of the gym, learn new movements (and get excited about it!), and realize fitness and health is beyond the number on the scale.
